JOB POSITION:
FOOD SERVICE WORKER
JOB STATUS:
Full-Time position, working approximately 75 hours per 2 week pay period. Will need to flex hours depending on department needs. Combination of 6a-2p and 11a-7p shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent. Will receive on-the-job training. Needs to understand diets and written menus. Must be familiar with food items and portions sizes. Be knowledgeable in sanitary codes. Know proper storage areas for food and supplies.
JOB DUTIES:
Performs a variety of clerical duties in keeping records of diet orders and patient screening. Verifies items on patient trays. Operates cash register. Performs a variety of related duties involved in maintaining a clean work area. Stocks vending machines. May be required to provide cross coverage for other positions in the Dietary Department on an as-needed basis.
