The Ostomy Support Group is planning to meet on Tuesday, May 7 at 10 AM in the Oncology Education Room.
The purpose of this support group meeting is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who have undergone ostomy surgeries. It will be an opportunity for ostomy patients to connect, share experiences, and offer one another encouragement and guidance.
Living with Diabetes will be held on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 11 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM in the Oncology Education Room at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
This educational course on managing diabetes is a multi-disciplinary approach to disease management with a nurse, exercise physiologist, dietitian and pharmacist. This course will help you get the tools you need to improve your blood sugar through education, diet, exercise and medication.
The cost of the classes will be billed directly to Medicare or your insurer with a physician order. Please check with your insurance plan to determine coverage and receive prior authorization if required.

It will be an opportunity for ostomy patients to connect, share experiences, and offer one another encouragement and guidance. The February meeting will be focusing on ostomy supplies and best practices for any issues that are occurring. Friends and family members are welcome to attend also.
