JOB POSITION: Clinical Informatics Specialist
JOB STATUS: Full-time position. Working 80 hours per pay period.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have Valid LPN or RN license and at least 2- 3 years’ experience working as an LPN or RN in a hospital setting. Prior experience in clinical informatics, EMR support, computer information systems or healthcare IT roles preferred. A strong analytical mindset is necessary to assess complex systems and processes. The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are highly valued. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards is required.
JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities include providing integral customer support for EMR system and acting as the primary intermediary between Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, and other departments. Responsible for developing and maintaining clinical applications, as well as offering assistance and support to EMR system users. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between relevant departments in the development and maintenance of clinical applications. Conduct thorough investigations, documentation, and resolution of incidents and problems within clinical applications. Assist employees, healthcare providers, and independent contractors in completing role-specific EMR training to ensure proficient system utilization. Additionally, support account activation and optimize the system to enhance user experience and maximize productivity.
