Wyandot Memorial Participating in Five Marketplace Insurances
Open Enrollment Begins November 1
Wyandot County residents enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace may choose between five options to receive care at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
The five in-network plans for WMH are Anthem Pathway Marketplace, Buckeye AmBetter Marketplace, Caresource Marketplace, Molina Marketplace and Paramount Marketplace. Open enrollment begins on November 1 and continues through December 15.
A sixth plan is available in Wyandot County, but WMH is not a participating provider, according to Patient Navigator Debbie Dilley. She is a Certified Application Counselor for the Health Insurance Marketplace and available to assist patients in signing up for Marketplace plans.
“Patients insured through one of five plans will be able to continue seeing their medical providers affiliated with WMH,” Dilley explained. “If they’re not established with one of our providers, I can help with that process.”
She can also assist patients residing in other counties with Marketplace and other insurance options.
The Health Insurance Marketplace is for individuals to purchase insurance independently if they are self-employed or not employed and do not qualify for Medicaid. These marketplace plans do not affect any of the Medicare plans.
