Dr. Vikram Kumar, MD, FACE is a board-certified endocrinologist with more than two decades of experience in managing complex endocrine, diabetes, and metabolic disorders. His career includes leadership as Chief of Medicine and Section Chief of Endocrinology, as well as faculty appointments where he trained the next generation of physicians. Dr. Kumar’s clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of endocrinology, with particular focus on diabetes management, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and metabolic health. He is certified in advanced insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring and has led the development of inpatient diabetes protocols in collaboration with educators and pharmacists. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kumar has contributed to research initiatives, including NIH-sponsored trials; and he has published on diabetes, inflammation, and metabolic disease.
