Dr. Subhajit Datta, MD, FACS, CPE is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with extensive experience in advanced surgical care for both lung and heart conditions. At Wyandot Memorial Hospital, he offers a full spectrum of thoracic and cardiac procedures, including lung biopsies, bronchoscopies, mediastinoscopies, thoracoscopies, pacemaker and AICD insertion or revision, and other complex chest operations. Dr. Datta is board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has specialized training in thoracoscopic techniques, beating-heart surgery, transmyocardial laser revascularization, ventricular assist devices, and minimally invasive MAZE procedures for atrial fibrillation. His previous experience includes serving as the attending cardiothoracic surgeon and as chief of thoracic surgery.
