Dr. Copeland is a fellowship trained orthopaedic sports medicine specialist and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in sports-related injury and arthroscopic surgery such as ACL reconstruction, meniscal repairs, shoulder instability and rotator cuff repairs, minimally invasive carpal tunnel releases and fracture management.
Dr. Copeland received his undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and earned his medical degree there from the Pritzker School of Medicine. He served an internship/residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals and completed a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery sports medicine at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute in Texas.
Dr. Copeland currently serves as the team physician for Tiffin University and several area high schools, and is the medical director of the athletic training program at Heidelberg University.
