Dr. Benjamin J. Hammer, DO is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity, including fractures, nerve compression disorders, tendon injuries, arthritis, and other complex orthopedic conditions. Dr. Hammer combines advanced surgical training with a patient-centered approach to help individuals regain function and return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Hammer completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Western Reserve Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident, before pursuing advanced fellowship training through the Cleveland Combined Hand Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and MetroHealth. Throughout his training, he has remained committed to medical education, serving as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery for Northeast Ohio Medical University and mentoring medical students and residents through lectures and hands-on instruction. His passion for orthopedic care is complemented by a strong commitment to serving patients and improving access to high-quality care in community and rural healthcare settings.
