Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon Joins WMH

Richard Klapchar, DO, an otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon, has joined the medical specialistsat Wyandot Memorial Hospital and is available for office hours every Friday.

Dr. Klapchar focuses on care of the ears, nose and throat (ENT) for patients of all ages.

Dr. Klapchar most recently served as the ENT residency program director at OhioHealth Ear, Nose & Throat Physicians in Columbus. Prior to that role, he was a solo practitioner in Canton.

The specialist served residencies at Richmond Heights General Hospital in Richmond Heights, Ohio (otolaryngology/oro-facial plastic surgery) and at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland. He completed an internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Highland Park, Michigan, after earning his Doctor of Osteopathy at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His undergraduate degree was from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Dr. Klapchar is board certified in otolaryngology/oro-facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology – head and neck surgery.
