Lung Cancer Screening Day

Lung Cancer Screening Day at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 from 7 am to 12 Noon.

The low dose CT scans will be billed to insurances, as screening is covered by most plans and Medicare for eligible individuals.

Eligibility guidelines include being age 50-80, currently smoking or having quit in the past 15 years, and having at least a 20 pack-year smoking history.

After a medical provider orders the screening, an appointment can be scheduled for November 11 or another day.
