Donations Help Urology Patients at WMH

The Wyandot County Prostate Cancer Support Group partnered with the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation to fund a procedure bed for urology patients.

The check presentation included Wyandot Memorial Hospital urology team members Heather Endsley, LPN; (from left); Bethany Parsell, CNP; Thomas Zaciewski, MD; and Lindsie Theis, LPN; with WMH Foundation Chairman Andy Loose and Prostate Cancer Support Group member Tom Eyestone.

The combined contribution of $3,500 completely funded a refurbished procedure bed to replace a hand-me-down cart that was more than 30 years old. The staff indicated the old cart was uncomfortable for patients and made proper positioning difficult. The new procedure bed was immediately put into service for urology patients visiting the Specialty Healthcare Center.
