JOB POSITION: Ultrasonographer/General Ultrasound/Cardiac Sonography

JOB STATUS: PART-TIME: 48 hours per two week pay period. Shift: 7:30AM – 4:00PM Call responsibility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate/equivalent. Must be ARDMS certified, registry eligible, and Ohio Licensed. Cardiac, vascular, OB/GYN, and general ultrasound experience preferred. Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Must work effectively with patients and patients’ families and maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Must exemplify a strong initiative and enthusiasm for the position, including a professional demeanor in appearance and ability to communicate, be an independent thinker, and be a customer service leader.

JOB DUTIES: Performs ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Determines proper technique and positions patients for the proper view of the affected area. Uses a systematic approach to assess patients’ needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care, and evaluate care in an efficient, safe environment. Facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines in order to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. Must adhere to all standards of practice for promoting teamwork with physicians and all ancillary departments. Other duties as assigned.
