Part Time Day Shift | MedSurg

DEPARTMENT: MED/SURG

JOB POSITION: Registered Nurse

JOB STATUS: Part Time – 48 hours per pay. PRIMARY SHIFT: 7AM-7PM. May work a combination of 12 and 8-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday responsibility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio. Must be ACLS, NRP, AND PALS certified Preference will be given to the candidate with two or more years hospital experience. Must exemplify a strong initiative and enthusiasm for the position, including a professional demeanor in appearance and ability to communicate positively, be an independent thinker, and a customer service leader.

JOB DUTIES: Based in Med/Surg but will work in other departments as assigned. Uses a systematic approach to assess patient’s needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care and evaluate care in an efficient, safe environment. The RN facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines in order to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, for promoting teamwork and physicians and personnel of other department. Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities when the RN develops the plan of care.
