Dr. Gabriel specializes in the treatment of spinal disorders and spine surgery, including complex cervical, thoracic, lumbosacral spine surgery, spinal instrumentation from the back of the head to the pelvis, osteotomy/scoliosis surgery, motion preservation/disc replacement of the lumbar and cervical spine, spinal cord stimulators, SI joint procedures, endoscopic spine surgery and microdiscectomy/laminectomy. He also provides spinal and joint injections.
Dr. Gabriel is affiliated with the Spine Institute of Ohio in Hilliard. He served a spine fellowship appointment in adult spinal cord injury at Case Western Reserve University. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency, orthopaedic research fellowship and general surgery internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and an undergraduate degree in biology from Temple University. Dr. Gabriel also served with the United States Air Force. Dr. Gabriel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
