JOB POSITION: Grant Writer
JOB STATUS: Full-time working 80 hours per two week pay period. Flexible day shift position as business needs dictate.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field, along with proven experience in grant writing and securing funding. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Strong research and organizational abilities with attention to detail are essential, as well as the capability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software or databases is required, with knowledge of the healthcare industry and funding mechanisms being preferred. A high level of professionalism and integrity is expected in this role.
JOB DUTIES: The individual will have a crucial role in securing funding to support Wyandot Memorial Hospital and the Wyandot Health Foundation’s programs, services, and initiatives. Responsibilities will include identifying grant opportunities, creating persuasive proposals, overseeing the grant application process, and carrying out additional tasks as required.
