SUMMARY:Living with Diabetes
DESCRIPTION:Living with Diabetes will be held on Thursday\, October 13 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Oncology Education Room at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. \nThis educational course on managing diabetes is a multi-disciplinary approach to disease management with a nurse\, exercise physiologist\, dietitian and pharmacist.  This course will help you get the tools you need to improve your blood sugar through education\, diet\, exercise and medication. \nThe cost of the classes will be billed directly to Medicare or your insurer with a physician order.  Please check with your insurance plan to determine coverage and receive prior authorization if required. \nTo register\, contact the Wellness Center  by calling 419-294-4991 extension 2236 or by emailing amanns@wyandotmemorial.org.

DESCRIPTION:The Grief Support Group will meet on Tuesday\, October 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at John Stewart United Methodist Church\, 130 W. Johnson Street in Upper Sandusky. Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Elaine J. Clinger Sturtz will present “Grief and the Holidays.” \nMs. Sturtz is a graduate of Otterbein University in Westerville and earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Counseling Ministries from the Methodist Theological School in Delaware. She is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and the author of three devotional books.
