JOB POSITION: DIRECTOR OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT / PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
JOB STATUS:
Full-time Exempt position. Flexible day shift position, working 80 hours per pay period, or as business needs dictate.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree with a Master’s Degree preferred. Experience in managing projects and/or operations improvement. Have a passion for process – both the creation of process where it does not exist, and the improvement of existing processes that could be better. Previous experience in a regulated environment (healthcare, education, manufacturing). Track record of building strong relationships. Ability to effectively plug into various functions within an organization, lean on the fly and dive into the details when needed.
JOB DUTIES:
The Director of Project Management/Process Improvement will develop extensive cross-functional collaboration across departments, regulatory agencies, real estate, marketing, communications, network, and IT; Building critical operating infrastructure across various areas, with a focus on establishing and updating play books and launch handbooks; managing projects to the point of deployment across all areas of the business; tracking and reporting project status and escalating issues when appropriate. Organize project resources while tracking and managing any over allocated resources and motivating the team to complete key deliverables. Obtain approvals from primary stakeholder(s) and control project scope, priorities, and schedule. Develop a relationship with key stakeholders to ensure delivered projects meet business needs and delight our patients. Analyze and control project risk and employ mitigating strategies appropriately. Provide an extremely high level of customer service to stakeholders. Manage a highly complex business calendar with a keen sense of prioritization and time management to ensure maximum effectiveness of time use. Escalate to decision makers when necessary. Build and deliver standard project reports to project team, key stakeholders, and Wyandot Memorial Hospital leadership. Present project status to senior executives.
