Foundation Awards Scholarships

Hospital

Summer Bouillon, Emma Brown, Ashley Carmona, Alexa Konkle, Jada Manns and Ellison Roark were awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Bouillon, a Carey resident, will study pharmacy at Ohio Northern University. The 2021 Carey High School graduate is the daughter of Keith and Brittany Bouillon.

Brown, a 2021 USHS graduate, will study pharmacy at the University of Findlay. She is the daughter of Jim Brown and Jennifer Frey of Upper Sandusky.

Carmona will major in nursing at The Ohio State University. The 2021 USHS graduate is a recipient of the Foundation’s Knighten Award and the daughter of Isabel Ramos and Isaias Carmona of Upper Sandusky.

Konkle, a Sycamore resident, is currently enrolled in The Ohio State University and studying respiratory therapy.

Manns will attend Rhodes State College to study dental hygiene. An Upper Sandusky resident, this 2021 USHS graduate is the daughter of April Manns.

Roark, a 2021 Carey High School graduate, will major in nursing at the University of Toledo. She is the daughter of Mandi and Joey Roark of Carey.

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation awards scholarships each year to Wyandot County residents planning a career in healthcare. Members of the Foundation’s board review scholarship applications and select winners based on achievement, need, character and commitment to community.
