Temporary Respiratory Clinic

Are you experiencing COVID-19 symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath?

  1. Call your medical provider for a phone assessment and triage; or if you don’t have a provider, phone WMH’s UrgentCare at 419-294-4991, extension 2126
  1. Your medical provider or UrgentCare may refer you to the hospital’s Temporary Respiratory Clinic if you are experiencing severe symptoms or are moderately ill with a high risk of complications
  1. The Temporary Respiratory Clinic in the Emergency Department parking lot is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm until further notice – Please remain in your vehicle for staff to assist you
  1. Only individuals with respiratory symptoms will be assessed at the Temporary Respiratory Clinic

Hospital Open for Medical Care – Closed for Visitors

Effective March 30 and continuing until further notice

All individuals entering the hospital must use our Emergency Department Entrance &

will be screened for fever and respiratory symptoms to ensure the safety of our patients and employees

  • Patient appointments with medical providers will be conducted in person or via phone – if you have an appointment scheduled, please phone the office if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
  • UrgentCare is open regular hours – Mon-Fri 7:30 am-7 pm and Sat-Sun 9 am-3pm
  • Physician-ordered medical services for diagnostic testing (lab, x-ray, imaging, etc.) are open, but Community Health Screenings/Vouchers for lab are suspended during the pandemic

Department closures or limitations

  • Elective surgeries are postponed and hospital staff will contact patients with details
  • Routine outpatient therapy appointments for PT, OT, Speech & Audiology are temporarily postponed
  • The Wellness Center is closed to cardiac & pulmonary rehab patients & Wellness members
  • Wyandot On Wheels has suspended visits to area communities
  • Bill payments in person are suspended, but online, phone and mail options are available
  • Medical records requests in person are suspended, but staff can send records directly to a healthcare provider at your request by fax or other electronic means
  • The cafeteria is closed to the public & open only for carry-out to patients, visitors and staff
  • Beca North is closed

No visitors are permitted at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, except in the specific situations listed below. Visitors meeting these specific criteria will be screened for and denied admission if symptomatic for COVID-19.

  • End-of-life – immediate family (significant others, children and siblings) and others at the discretion of the hospital
  • Pediatrics – a maximum of 2 visitors who will remain for the entire hospitalization
  • Surgery – 1 visitor
  • Patient Needs – the hospital may determine if a visitor is needed based on a patient’s well-being
