Keaton Cunningham, Hannah Daris, Allyson Eley, Alexa Konkle, Ankit Patel and Storm Rife were awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Cunningham, an Upper Sandusky resident, will study Neuroscience/Pre-Med at Miami University. The 2020 USHS graduate is the son of Chad and Melissa Cunningham.

Daris, a 2020 USHS graduate, will study Speech Pathology at Miami University. She is the daughter of Chris and Tamula Daris of Upper Sandusky.

Eley will be studying Nursing at The University of Toledo. The 2020 Carey High School graduate is a recipient of the Foundation’s Knighten Award and the daughter of Ryan and Crystal Eley.

Konkle is enrolled in The Ohio State University and will study Radiation Therapy. The 2020 graduate of Mohawk High School is the daughter of Brent and Michelle Konkle of Sycamore.

Patel will be studying Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University. An Upper Sandusky resident, this 2020 USHS graduate is the daughter of Kamini and Jamir Patel.

Rife, a 2020 USHS graduate, will study Nursing at Marion Technical College. She is the daughter of Andy and Sabrina Swavel of Upper Sandusky.

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation awards scholarships each year to Wyandot County residents planning a career in healthcare. Members of the Foundation’s board review scholarship applications and select winners based on achievement, need, character and commitment to community.
