Taylor Boyd, Blayc Hacker, Alivia Oney, Noel Orians, Danielle Thiel and Adriane Weininger were awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Boyd, a 2019 graduate of Ridgedale High School, will study Biology (Pre-Optometry) at The Ohio State University. The Harpster resident is the daughter of Greg and Jill Boyd.

Hacker, an Upper Sandusky resident, is studying Psychology/Pre-Med at The Ohio State University.

Oney will study Nutrition Sciences at The Ohio State University. The 2019 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School is the daughter of Nicholas and Deanna Oney.

Orians is enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Marion Technical College and resides in Carey.

Thiel will be studying Nursing at The University of Toledo. The Upper Sandusky resident and 2019 USHS graduate is a recipient of the Foundation’s Knighten Award and the daughter of Dan and Carolyn Thiel.

Weininger, an Upper Sandusky resident, is studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Otterbein University.

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation awards scholarships each year to Wyandot County residents planning a career in healthcare. Members of the Foundation’s board review scholarship applications and select winners based on achievement, need, character and commitment to community.
