Washburn Promoted to Environmental Services Manager

Trey Washburn of Upper Sandusky has been promoted to manager of environmental services at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Washburn is responsible for the housekeeping and linen staff members working throughout the hospital and at its off-site locations. He and his team work closely with the nursing staff to ensure quality and patient safety, particularly for infection prevention.

Washburn previously spent three years in the patient registration and data entry department of the hospital. In addition to his day-to-day duties there, he also participated in Lean Six Sigma projects and similar assignments for improved communication, workflow and efficiencies.

Other job experiences were gained as a seasonal worker in the Upper Sandusky parks department and delivery driver for AJ’s Heavenly Pizza.

Washburn earned both an associate degree and Bachelor of Science in business administration from The Ohio State University. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Tiffin University.
