General Surgeon Peter Schuler, M.D., will provide free vein screenings on October 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and on October 31 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The screenings will include a brief varicose vein risk factor questionnaire and consultation with Dr. Schuler.
Dr. Schuler treats varicose and spider veins with radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy injections and VeinGogh™. The size of the vein typically determines which treatment may be more effective.
The surgeon noted VeinGogh™ has also been effective in eliminating rosacea redness, cherry angiomas, small hemangiomas, skin tags and spider nevi.
The free screenings will be held at VeinCare located near the north entrance of Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Appointments are required for the screenings, and may be made by phoning 419-731-4268.
