Danielle Kreais, CPNP-PC, joined the staff at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for children from newborn through age 17.
The Wyandot County native – formerly Danielle Boes – has extensive experience in pediatrics, both as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner-primary care and as a registered nurse.
Kreais earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. While in training, she worked in the special care nursery at Marion General Hospital and in the neonatal intensive care unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She also worked in the medical-surgical units at Nationwide, where she cared for patients – from infants through teens – with respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, infectious disease, surgical and neurological issues.
Most recently, Kreais served as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Mansfield’s Third Street Family Health Services.
“Being part of a small town and having the opportunity to give back played a role in my excitement for joining the Wyandot team,” she said. “I feel like this is a big step for WMH to bring in a PNP, and I’m honored that I am getting this opportunity.”
Kreais’s office is on the lower level of the hospital near the Specialty Healthcare Center. For more information or appointments, contact her office at 419-294-5758.
