Wyandot Memorial Hospital invites area children to bring their favorite teddy bear, stuffed animal or doll for a “check-up” with a doctor or nurse at the Teddy Bear Clinic on Sunday, March 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The young and young-at-heart will take a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital with a guided tour, and visit with representatives of Lifeflight, Upper Sandusky Police Department and Wyandot County Health Department, Sheriff’s Office and EMS. Guests may enter at the Medical Office Building entrance located on the southeastern side of the hospital.
The Teddy Bear Clinic is held to familiarize children with hospital experiences, in hopes they will not be as frightened if they have to visit someone or be a patient themselves. For more information, contact the hospital’s community relations department at 419-294-4991, extension 2268.
