Sleep Tune-up March 24 & 25

Wyandot Memorial Hospital’s SleepCare is holding its free Sleep Tune-up on Wednesday, March 24 in Upper Sandusky, and on Thursday, March 25 in Carey.

The event will feature inspections and “tune-ups” of CPAP machines by DME respiratory therapist Rhonda Pirnstill. CPAP – Continuous Positive Airway Pressure – machines aid many people in managing their sleep apnea or other disorder, and proper maintenance is key.

“We want to make sure the pressures are accurate and masks are fitting properly,” explained Denise Orwick, Director of Respiratory and DME Services. “We’ll also have our sleep technologists available to answer any questions about sleep habits and address concerns about symptoms.”

The Sleep Tune-up will be offered on March 24 from 5-7 p.m. at the Medical Office Building of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky, and again on March 25 from 2-4 p.m. at the SleepCare Diagnostic Sleep Testing Lab located in the Times Building in Carey.
