Hospital Foundation Awards Scholarships

Macy Britton, Lauren Fredritz, Matthew Lortz, Meaghan Pagnard and Michelle Webster were awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation.
 
Britton is a 2011 Upper Sandusky High School graduate and has been accepted in the radiology program at Marion Technical College. She is the daughter of Scott and Jenny Britton of Upper Sandusky.
 
Fredritz, McCutchenville, has been accepted at the University of Findlay to study health science with a pre-physical therapy emphasis. She is a 2011 Mohawk High School graduate and the daughter of Harold and Joan Fredritz.
 
Lortz is studying to become a Registered Nurse at Owens Community College. He is a resident of Carey and plans to receive his nursing degree next year.
 
Pagnard will be attending Marion Technical College’s radiography program. She is a 2011 Upper Sandusky High School graduate and the daughter of Rex and Lynette Pagnard of Upper Sandusky.
 
Webster, Upper Sandusky, is also a recent graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. She has been accepted at the University of Toledo to study nursing. Her parents are Donald and Lisa Baker and Steven Webster.
 
The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation awards scholarships each year to Wyandot County residents planning a career in healthcare. Members of the Foundation’s board review scholarship applications and select winners based on achievement, need, character and commitment to community.
