Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering quarterly lab screenings March 7 – 12 as part of its community outreach efforts.
The screenings will be available Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11 from 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., and on Saturday, March 12 from 7 a.m. – Noon. Participants may report directly to the outpatient services window, where they will complete a brief form and address an envelope for mailing of the results.
The screenings will also be offered at the lab’s draw site in the Medical Office Building’s temporary location on Mission Drive from 8 a.m. – Noon on March 7 – 11, and 1 – 5 p.m. on March 7 - 10.
The quarterly lab screenings include an automated CBC, full lipid profile, basic metabolic panel and AST/ALT for $30. The screening checks hemoglobin, white cell count, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and ratio, glucose (blood sugar), electrolytes, kidney function and liver enzymes. For the most accurate results, participants will want to fast for 12 hours prior to the test.
The fee for the screenings is payable by cash, check or credit card.
The next lab screenings will be offered in conjunction with the annual Spring Into Health event on Saturday, May 14.
