The Medical Office Building located adjacent to Wyandot Memorial Hospital will move to a temporary location at 800 Mission Drive – formerly Fairhaven North – during the hospital’s addition and renovation project.
The move will allow contractors total access to the existing Medical Office Building for renovations, and improve patient accessibility, safety and comfort during the construction.
The building on Mission Drive has three main areas. The front hallway will be the temporary location of offices for Dr. C.S. Cha, Dr. Keri Harris and Jennifer Newman, Susan Hotelling and Dr. Byron Morales. The Specialty Healthcare Center and Dr. Peter Schuler will move to the back hallway, and the middle service hallway will house Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and several support departments.
The moves to the temporary location will be made during August, and patients are being notified by office staff members if their appointments or procedures will be there.
The hospital expects the physician offices and Specialty Healthcare Center to be at the Mission Drive location for approximately two years while the current Medical Office Building is renovated. That renovation will provide space for an expanded Emergency Department, new main entrance, patient registration, lab blood draw station, JobCare occupational health, Specialty Healthcare Center and patient accounts. The focus of the project is improved patient access and privacy.
