Wyandot Memorial Hospital Maternity Nurse Maraline Thiel (left) presented a basket of gifts to Tag Ransom Byrd and his parents, Micah and Becca Byrd of Nevada, in celebration of Boy Scout Week.

 

Cub Scout Pack 221, which is chartered by the Apostolic Gospel Church in Upper Sandusky, donated the gifts for the first boy born at WMH after the start of Boy Scout Week. Tag arrived on February 22 at 8:17 p.m., and weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces. His father, Micah, is a former Boy Scout himself and earned the Eagle Scout rank.
