Boxcar Tavern staff members Kat Niederkohr (from left) and Lucy Penwell presented a check for $2,009.96 to Wyandot Memorial Hospital Oncology Nurses Susan Kuhlman, Kandy Gretzinger and Joanna Bloom. The donation from the Boxcar was raised through a special event it hosted to benefit local breast cancer patients. Kuhlman noted the hospital will use the contribution for personal, out-of-pocket expenses that breast cancer patients face during their treatment.
