surgeryvideoequip.jpgThe Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation is the hospital's fundraising entitiy.

Foundation leadership and volunteers - working with community members and hospital friends -  have been instrumental in providing guidance that has helped raise monies for various projects such as the recent operating room modernization. The foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization, and donations are tax deductible.

Like our governing board's leadership, community volunteers provide direction and vision for the foundation. Board members' names are listed below.

  • Dan Miller: Chairman
  • Andy Loose: Vice-chairman
  • Alan Yeates: Treasurer
  • Wayne Walton: Secretary
  • Fred Feichter: Board of Governors Representative
  • Jeannette Rhodes

In addition to serving as the hospital's fundraising entity, the foundation offers scholarship opportunities. Each year, the foundation awards five $1,000 scholarships to county residents pursuing careers in healthcare; the application process is open to graduating high school seniors as well as non-traditional or returning students. Scholarship applications are available through area high school guidance and academic advising offices from approximately January through April with awards announced in late May.

The photograph above captures staff members using the hospital's new surgical video equipment that a generous community benefactor's donation helped purchase. Below, hospital affiliates look at the cumulative donor board located adjacent to the main lobby.
